The new School Nurse Lynn Green will be coming into school regularly to be available to all parents school wide. We will make sure parents are made aware of when she is visiting.
Parenting sessions are being held fortnightly on a Friday morning. This is a small group and is very informal. It is a time for pampering, refreshing and encouragement through good listening. A parent said:
“This is not a class for telling people. We are there to encourage and support each other.”
After the Easter holidays we intend to hold some handicraft sessions for parents on alternative Friday mornings where those of us with some skills in this area will pass on tips to others.
Our activities are based on the principle of including all parents and working together. We welcome your ideas, suggestions and particularly your presence in school.
